Hi Fellow CERT Members and Friends,
Please see below an E-mail I received from Chief Sullivan from Goffstown PD in reference to the CERT activation from yesterday. We are not only willing to help out in our own community we were also ready to help out our neighbors in times of disaster. Thank you so much to the dozen or so members who were willing to help out in a moments notice and those who helped out to organize a group to go to Epsom to help with tree removal. We were never actually deployed but the town of Epsom knew they could count on Goffstown CERT if need be. That is what we are all about. Let us please keep in our thoughts our neighbors who we have lost or have been injured and lost their home to this fast moving devastating storm that hit NH with no mercy yesterday. Thank you all again and you folks are AWESOME!!!!
Have an UNEVENTFUL day!!!! Susan
Thank You, Please extend my thanks and appreciation to the rest of the members as well. The organization's ability to react and identify members with specific skills, reinforces the reputation the team has for high quality and willingness to serve.
